My friends,
Biblical men wrote, as the Holy Spirit superintended the process, of Jesus’ return. The Bible is not only the greatest Book ever written, but the one that presents His way and our hope for things to come.“We can bask in scriptures, knowing that Jesus will return for those persons who confess with their mouth and believe in their hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead. Amazingly, every eye will see Him when He returns.
Selected scriptures which highlights His return are noted below.
Daniel writes from his vision of the four beasts, “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him” (Daniel 7:13 KJV).
Matthew records Jesus saying, “Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven” (Matthew 26:64 KJV).
Mark records Jesus saying, “I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven” (Mark 14:62 KJV).“ “Luke records Jesus saying, “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (Luke 21:27 KJV).
John writes in the book of I John, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is” (1 John 3:2 KJV).
John writes in the book of Revelation, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7 KJV).
John also writes in the book of Revelation, “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand” (Revelation 6:15-17 KJV)?
