Faith in God is one of the most powerful forces in the universe to help you to turn a setback into a comeback. Once you decide and use your faith and maximize it everything will change in your life. Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you with my righteous right hand.” We go through life with God-ordained opportunities. These opportunities are distinguished as challenges. We have the ability to move mountains with our faith.
Growing up in Gilbert, I had the dream of running a marathon. It was a dream I had only seen done on television. I decided to take on the challenge to train for a marathon. I had one big problem, I had no one to train me so I had to train myself. I remember the moonlight runs turned into sunrise runs. I had to give up the sodas to drinking water and Gatorade. I had to give up my LIttle Debbie snacks and eat more vegetables and fruits. I crossed the finish line of the New Orleans Marathon about six months later. I had completed a lifelong goal.
God-ordained opportunities can be disguised as challenges, today I have completed four marathons. Remember, you and God is a winning team.
