Special Meeting Minutes

Members In Attendance: Alderman Simeon Profit, Alderman Janice Fleming, Alderman Donald Richard, Alderman Deneitra Ross Alderman Wysinger Cleveland
The Town of Richwood met for a Special Meeting held June 6, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Richwood Multi-Purpose Center, 2710 Martin Luther King Drive, Richwood, Louisiana to consider the following business:
I. Meeting Called to Order 10:00 A.M.
II. Prayer by Mayor Brown
III. Pledge of Allegiance in unison
IV. Roll Call: All (5) Aldermen Present at Roll Call
V. Adoption of the Agenda: It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to add Item# VII as Executive Session concerning Chief Johnny Cleveland.
* The record shall reflect a vote to add Item # VII as Executive session with the following results: (5) Votes Yes to add Executive Session Discussion of Chief Johnny Cleveland as Item # VII.

VI. Discussion with Volkert regarding Phase 2 of LCDBG Street Project
It was motioned by Alderman Deneitra Ross and seconded by Alderman Wysinger Cleveland to submit a change order concerning the street project, which includes Anne, Paula, and Joy streets.
VII. Executive Session: The Board entered the Executive Session at 10:10 a.m. and reconvened in regular session at 11:00 a.m.
VIII. Adjournment
It was motioned by Alderman Janice Fleming and seconded by Alderman Deneitra Ross to adjourn at 11:00 a.m.
