The Town of Richwood met for a Special Meeting held June 26, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Richwood Multi-Purpose Center, 2710 Martin Luther King Drive, Richwood, Louisiana to consider the following business:
I. Meeting Called to Order @ 6:10 P.M.
II. Prayer by Mayor Gerald Brown
III. Pledge of Allegiance in unison
IV. Roll Call: All (5) Aldermen Present at Roll Call

V. Adoption of the Agenda:
It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Leola Keys to amend the agenda to add Public Comments and Executive Session .
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to add Public Comments and Executive Session on the agenda with the following results: (5) Votes Yes to Amend the agenda.

It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adopt the amended agenda.
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to adopt the amended agenda with the following results: (5) Votes Yes to Amend the agenda.

VI. Public Comments as They Relate to Items on the Agenda:
Mr. Nathan Brown ( Public Attendee) inquired of the forum pertaining to the request of a forensic audit for 2021 and 2022 added to the budget.
Mr. Nathan Brown- as to evidence of the need for a forensic audit being misappropriation of assets , conflict of interest, concerning our Mayor? Have you had any investigations of misappropriation of assets because there is no court proceedings?
VII. Executive Session
It was motioned by Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to go into Executive session .
* The record shall reflect all (5) Aldermen voted to go into Executive Session @ 6:17 p.m. as follows:

It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. to return to Regular Session @ 6:34 p.m.
VIII. Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 to include forensic audit for year 2021 and 2022
IX. Adjournment
It was motioned by Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. and Alderman Wysinger Cleveland to adjourn @ 6:35 p.m.
