The Town of Richwood met for Regular Meeting held on June 15, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Richwood Multi-Purpose Center, 2710 Martin Luther King Drive, Richwood, Louisiana to consider the following business:
I. Meeting Called to Order by Mayor Gerald Brown at 7:00 P.M.
II. Prayer- was offered by Pastor David Profit
III. Pledge of Allegiance – recited in unison.
IV. Roll Call- Mayor Gerald Brown called roll with the following results:
* The record shall reflect all (5) Aldermen present at time of roll call.
Present: Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. Alderman Simeon Profit Alderman Janice Fleming Alderman Leola Keys Alderman Wysinger Cleveland
V. Adoption of the Agenda-
Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. stated that he had been asked to make some changes to tonight s agenda; Item # XIII( An ordinance amending ordinance 2017-13 and set a yearly salary for the Town Clerk) and Item # XIV Ordinance 2023-04 ( an ordinance amending ordinance 2018-02 and set a yearly salary for the Chief of Police) to be removed from tonight s agenda, it was then seconded by Alderman Wysinger Cleveland to remove the stated items from the agenda.
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to remove the items as stated from the agenda with the following results: (3) Yes Votes and (2) No
* Due to not receiving a unanimous vote, the items cannot be removed from the agenda.

Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. motioned, and Alderman Wysinger Cleveland seconded the motion that an item be added to the agenda to discuss New Construction along HWY 165 be added to the agenda.
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to add the Discussion of New Construction along Hwy 165 and Highland Road to the June 15, 2023 agenda with the following results: (4) Votes Yes and (1) Vote No.
* Due to not receiving a unanimous vote, the item cannot be added to the agenda.
Mayor Gerald Brown- inquired, if there was anything else the Board wanted to amend or adjust the agenda?
Alderman Wilbert Reed Jr. stated, Item # XVI could stay on the agenda, Item # XVII for my understanding I sent an email to the clerk asking her to add the adoption of Ordinance 2
It was motioned by Alderman Simeon Profit and seconded by Alderman Janice Fleming to adopt the Agenda for June 15, 2023 as presented.
* The record shall reflect a vote was taken to adopt the June 15, 2023 Agenda as presented with the following results: (3) No Votes and (2) Yes Votes to adopt the
