Monroe, LA-Renewal, Inc., a faith-based non-profit organization under the direction of Bishop Alvin Walker, and the City of Monroe are partnering to offer grants to local small businesses. Limited funding is available for qualifying businesses located in the city of Monroe. Online applications are being accepted now.
Under the program, selected small businesses were awarded up to $1,000 for business expenses and will also receive available technical assistance as needed. Local small businesses have long been in need for assistance to help them take their businesses to the next level. In conjunction with the City of Monroe and other partners, Renewal, Inc. has offered support in the form of grants and technical assistance to businesses in Northeast Louisiana since 1998.
