Beyond her classroom impact, Mrs. Hunter is the founder of The Learning Lounge, a tutoring initiative designed to strengthen literacy and math foundations. Through focused support in DIBELS literacy skills and numeracy development, The Learning Lounge helps students build fluency, comprehension, fact mastery, and problem-solving confidence. She also serves her community as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, the Monroe Junior League, and True Vine Baptist Church. She is a devoted wife and proud mother. Her philosophy says it best: “Learning should never feel like a chore. It should be filled with fun, laughter, and love.”
