Two injured in Sporting Goods store shooting here

A dispute at a Hibbett Sports store in Monroe, Louisiana escalated into gunfire on February 8, leaving two adults injured, according to police reports. The incident, which began inside the store on Louisville Avenue, spilled onto the street during a sale of new Jordan 5 sneakers.

A 12-year-old witness, who attended a community meeting at Powell Avenue Community Center following the incident, reported that he had gone to the store with his uncle to purchase the newly released shoes.
