John served as Principal of Berg Jones Lane Elementary, Director of Community Affairs, City of Monroe Marshall, Referee Association,
Parents: John Sr. and Hattie Ross Proceeded him in death
He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters – Dr. Rolandanlin Washington (Clarence), Tifaney Harrington (Melvin), Kristy Crow (Raymond), Brandi Ross, Jamonica Ross; Sons- John Ross 3rd, Rodrerick Ross, Marcus Ross, Jamon Ross, Johnathan Ross, Gene Colvin Sr. (Stephanie), Chris Dunn.
A host of grandchildren, family, and friends and gratitude for a special grandson, Todd Shoulder, who helped take care of him for over four years, and a special thanks to his fantastic personal nurse, Terri, and a special thank you to Ms. Creasy B. Ross for caring for our grandmother.
On Behalf of John Edward Ross Jr., a Scholarship Fund will be set up to help children in our community attend college.
