The community of Monroe mourns the loss of an exceptional woman, Mother Jessie Mae Bradley-Harris, who peacefully passed away at the age of 97 on October 27, 2023. A pillar of strength, spirituality, and style in the community, Mother Bradley’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of faith, love, and service.
Funeral services to celebrate and honor the life of Mother Bradley will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Greater Antioch Baptist Church. A visitation for family and friends will be hosted on Friday, November 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Home on Berg Jones Lane, allowing the community to pay respects and offer condolences to the family.
