Services for Shenterika Tra’sha Little will take place on Saturday, February 10th at 11 a.m. at China Grove Baptist Church. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 9th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Home.
Shenterika, affectionately known as “Shenny,” was born on June 19, 1993, in Monroe, Louisiana, to parents Danny Little and Kisha R. (Spikes) Little, and was the elder of two children. Her faith journey began early, shaping her life with spiritual strength until her passing on January 31, 2024.
Her educational journey included Lincoln Elementary, Cypress Point Elementary, and culminated in her graduation from Carroll High School in 2013.
Her son, Jamian Green, Jr., was born a month before she completed high school.
Shenterika’s ambition led her to UniTech for a Dental Assistant License and later to Cloyd’s Beauty School for cosmetology studies. Despite health challenges, she remained committed to furthering her education and providing for her son.
Shenterika’s memory is cherished by her son, Jamian; her parents, Danny and Kisha; her brother, Danterius; her grandmother, Alice Faye Spike; and a loving circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Christopher and Alice Spikes, and uncles, Tyrone Little and Sam James (Uncle Dee), Shenterika’s legacy is one of love, perseverance, and faith, touching all who knew her.
