Services for Melissa Brown, 50, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Greater Flowery Mount Baptist Church, located at 1600 Wood Street in Monroe, Louisiana.
A public visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 2, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Companies, 1901 Burg Jones Lane.
Melissa Brown passed away on April 24, 2025, following a lengthy illness.
She was the daughter of Marie Brown, the research assistant for the Monroe City Council. Known to family and friends for her quiet strength and generous spirit, Melissa touched many lives through her kindness and determination.
