On Saturday, June 20, 2020, our beloved angel Betty Taylor- Owens transitioned from her earthly home to now resting in the arms of her Heavenly Father. She was surrounded by her children and family at home.
Betty Taylor-Owens was born to the union of the late Jimmy Taylor and Fannie Mae Turner Taylor on September 15, 1929, in Rayville, LA. She was the second child of nine siblings. Remembering her love; one sister, Fannie Mae Taylor, eight children; Robert Earl Handy, Barbara Washington, Laura Elmore, Leon Handy, Jr, Betty Jean Davidson, Brenda Handy Richard, Sharon Handy Hill, and Michael Handy. She was also blessed to have an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Proceeded her in death two daughters, Freddie Scott and Stella Owens.
The family wishes to announce the viewing of Betty Taylor- Owens will be Friday, June 26, 2020, from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm at Miller’s Funeral Home, 2932 Renwick Street, Monroe, LA 71201.
(Private) Funeral Service will be held for Betty Taylor-Owes Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 1:00 pm Miller’s Funeral Home Chapel, 2932 Renwick Street Monroe, LA 71201.
