Monroe Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi honors future leaders at Annual Scholarship Banquet

The spirit of excellence and achievement was alive and well as the Monroe Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Fraternity hosted its annual Kappa League Scholarship Banquet, celebrating the academic accomplishments of six graduates.

Scholarships were presented to six outstanding graduates: Christian James, Nick Nelson, Donovan Shine, Jeremiah Sims, CJ Spurs, and Remhel Tatum. Each recipient was honored not only for their academic success but also for their character, leadership, and commitment to growth.

Brothers Jason Stewart and Victor Gardener presented the scholarships, emphasizing the fraternity’s dedication to guiding young men through mentorship, and education.

The banquet concluded with closing remarks from Brother Ibra January who offered an inspiring message of purpose and perseverance.

This event served not only as a celebration of accomplishments but also as a call to action—a reminder that with faith, discipline, and determination, there are no limits to what these young men can achieve.
As the Monroe Alumni Chapter continues its work of uplifting and empowering our youth in Monroe, the community is reminded that when we invest in our young people, we are investing in a brighter future for all of us.
