January, police were investigating the shooting death of man on Jason Drive but were unable to find the suspect. However, thanks to neighborhood tips a suspect has been arrested.
According to the Monroe Police Department, 18-year-old Patrell Walker was wanted for a shooting that happened on Jan. 4, 2021, on Jason Drive that left one person dead, and another injured. He has been charged with second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
Detectives say they received word that led them to the location of Walker. They say he was taken into custody and later booked on the charges.
