Lafayette Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. held its 41st Beautillion

The Lafayette Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. held its 41st Beautillion on March 24, 2024, at the Heymann Performing Arts Center. Eight Young Men of Distinction were celebrated as they began their journey into manhood. Amongst those eight young men was Beau Caden Robert Benoit, the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Porter, Sr. He was awarded 1st Runner-up in the Mr. Beau contest. Caden will be graduating from David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy in Lafayette, LA with a concentration in Biomedical Studies. He plans to attend Grambling State University in the fall.
