Monroe, LA-Renewal, Inc. along with other partners will be sponsoring an upcoming class 1st Time Homebuyers Class. The date of the 2-Day event will be Saturday, February 29, and Saturday, March 7, 2020. The class will be held from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm each day. This program is free to the public and will be held at The Lighthouse Church, 513 Sunnyside Dr. in Monroe; Bishop Alvin B. Walker, pastor.
Renewal, Inc. offers homebuyer education training throughout the year. The course is taught by industry professionals in an educational environment and is conveniently offered on weekends and requires pre-registration. Certificates of completion (sometimes required for down payment assistance programs) will be provided for each participant that completes the entire course. Sponsors of the event include Origin Bank, Ouachita Valley Credit Union, Ouachita Enterprise Community (OEC), and Capital One Bank.
