In January, when she takes office as a judge of the 4th District Court, her title will change from Attorney Jessica Williams to the Honorable Jessica Williams.
Judge-Elect Williams was elected Friday, without opposition, to the judgship being vacated by the retirement of Judge Robert Johnson.
