Monroe, LA-Renewal, Inc. along with other partners will be sponsoring an upcoming 1st Time Homebuyer Course. The date of the event will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 and Saturday, February 23, 2019. The event will be held from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm each day. This program is free to the public and will be held at The Lighthouse Church, 513 Sunnyside Dr. in Monroe; Bishop Alvin B. Walker, pastor.
Renewal, Inc. offers homebuyer education training throughout the year. The course is taught by industry professionals in an educational environment. The class is conveniently offered on weekends and requires pre-registration. Certificates of completion (sometimes required for down payment assistance programs) will be provided for each participant that completes the entire course. Sponsors of the event include Origin Bank, Mississippi Housing Initiative (MHI), Ouachita Enterprise Community (OEC), Capital One Bank, and Woodforest Bank.
