Mr. Green the 1st African American Photographer in Monroe, LA passed away at the age of 104. He was born March 22, 1911, in Weleetka, Oklahoma to the late Ervin & Lillie Green. Mr. Green had four sisters who he loved so dearly, preceded him in death. At the tender age of eight, he lost his mother. Afterward, he got permission from his dad to go to work to help take care of his sisters. After the passing of his mother, the family moved to California. Five years later, the family moved again to Homer, La.
