Provides free Christmas Day meal to area homeless, on-duty officers; free winter clothes also available for those in need, clothing donations now being accepted
Monroe, LA – Winter clothing and food donations are now being accepted for “Feed the Forgotten,” a free community event serving area homeless and on-duty first responders,12 p.m.-till, Christmas Day, DeSiard Street, Downtown Monroe (under the 1-20 Bridge, next to New York Furniture).
Organized by Ken Daniels, Justin Ward, and the staff of Doe’s Eat Place, “Feed the Forgotten” will provide hot meals to those affected by homelessness, as well as to all area on-duty first responders. Winter clothing will also be available free for anyone in need.
