Drunk Driver didn’t know Trump, booked for DWI

A woman who says she was not drunk when stopped by police, made police really suspicious when they asked her one question that every sober person knows, “Who is the president of the United States?” When she couldn’t answer police knew she was drunk and they began looking harder.

According to the official report, on Sunday, May 26, 2019, Ouachita Parish Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a single crash site on Finks Hideaway Road. The deputies observed a black four-door vehicle in the ditch, and a white female in the driver’s seat.

The officer observed her to be off balance because she swayed as she stood. Her speech slurred and she could not answer basic questions that included giving the name of the current President of the United States.

The driver was Ali Nicole Sims of 106 Lovely Lane in Monroe, La.

Sims told deputies she was attempting to answer her cell phone when she ran off the road into the ditch. She told deputies that she had consumed two or three Lortab’s and smoked marijuana about an hour before the crash.

She submitted to a blood test that resulted in a DWI charge as well as a careless operation offense. She was booked into the Ouachita Parish Jail.
