Church & Civic groups rallying to help most Black Rolling Fork victims survive

The Tornado that destroyed two predominately black counties in Mississippi last week has many wondering what will happen to the victims when the publicity dies down. FEMA’s help is temporary, but people around the nation will need to pitch in to help these struggling counties when the hotel vouchers run out.

  The Massive tornado tore through Rolling Folk, Mississippi, and nearby Sharkey County and leveled every building, business, church, store, school, and shelter. Leaving its residents helpless.

  The tornado destroyed many homes and businesses in Rolling Fork and the nearby town of Silver City, leaving mounds of lumber, bricks, and twisted metal. The local housing stock was already tight, and…
