Adasyn Pleas named Student of the Year

Congratulations to Adasyn Pleas on her well-deserved recognition as Monroe City Schools District Elementary Student of the Year and J.S. Clark Magnet School Student of the Year (2022-2023).

Adasyn has attended J.S. Clark Magnet School since Kindergarten. Throughout her years at J.S. Clark Magnet School, she has maintained an all A average each school year, and her favorite subjects are Math and English. She is very involved in her school and is a member of several clubs and organizations, including the National Elementary Honors Society, Student Council, where she serves as Vice President, Chat and Chew Book Club, Jaguar Journal Newspaper, J.S. Clark Choir, District 1 Honors Choir, and Robotics Club. She is also very active in extra-curricular activities such as dance, softball, and piano.

She attends Zion Spring Baptist Church, where she sings in the choir and is the secretary of the Zion Spring Youth of Faith organization. She volunteers her time helping her grandmother, Ivory Pleas Swan, a retired teacher, tutor students with their homework. Adasyn enjoys helping others and aspires to become a doctor one day to help save lives.

Her parents, Anitra Pleas and Kendall Bennett are very proud of her and wish her continued success in all of her future endeavors.
