Tina Michelle Carlisle, 58 of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away August 8, 2026.
Tina was born in Monroe, Louisiana. She graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1986 and later earned a degree in Fire Science from LSU.
In May 2024, Tina retired from the Ouachita Parish Fire Department after more than 28 years of dedicated service as a public safety communications officer and trainer. She also taught hazardous-materials handling procedures and was a qualified emergency medical technician.
Tina loved her dogs, her friends, and her family. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and friend, as well as a gentle and compassionate helper to anyone in need.
Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Diane Mewborn of Monroe; grandparents, Coleman and Dorothy Carlisle, of Monroe; F.O. and Lola Mewborn of Swartz; and one brother, Brandon Carlisle of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Tina is survived by her Father, Charlie Carlisle of Nacogdoches, TX, and his wife Lanelle Carlisle; 3 brothers, Clayton Carlisle of Tyler, TX, Ray Carlisle of Fort Collins, CO, and Kevin Carlisle of Rockport, TX; and one sister, Traci Bouma of Wasilla, Alaska; along with other extended family and friends.
Honoring Tina as pallbearers are Artie Beebe, Heath Bedoit, Artice Dowdey, Bruce Thorton, Ryan Brown, Michael Bumgardner, Steve Descant, John Wells and Sherman Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Dr. Jason McNaughten and Robert Moore, Fire Chief of Ouachita Parish will be officiating.
Interment will follow at the Lone Cherry Cemetery, 651 Highway 622, Mangham, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm until the time of service at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
