Back in my school days, I remember learning about pH in chemistry. The teacher explained that pH is a measurement used to determine whether something is acidic, neutral, or alkaline. If the pH is too far in either direction, problems can occur. Balance is important.
Recently, I began thinking about pH differently. What if pH stood for Peace and Happiness?
Peace is having a calm mind even when life gets challenging.
Happiness is finding joy, gratitude, and purpose in each day.
You can have money without peace, and success without happiness, but a life filled with Peace and Happiness is true wealth.
Make P.H.your daily goal. Protect your peace, pursue your happiness, and watch your life become richer in ways money can never buy.
Just as chemistry requires the proper pH for healthy growth and function, our lives require the right amount of Peace and Happiness. Without them, we can become overwhelmed by stress, worry, anger, and frustration.
Every day we face challenges. Bills have to be paid. Problems arise at work. Relationships require attention. Unexpected difficulties can show up without warning. If we are not careful, these pressures can rob us of our peace and steal our happiness.
When life becomes difficult, check your personal pH level. Are you carrying bitterness, resentment, or fear? If so, it may be time to make some adjustments. Spend time with positive people. Pray more. Laugh more. Count your blessings instead of your burdens.
The world gives us plenty of reasons to worry, but it also gives us countless reasons to be grateful. The choice is ours.
In chemistry, pH determines the health of a solution. In life, P.H. – Peace and Happiness – determines the health of the soul. Protect your P.H. every day. When your Peace and Happiness are in balance, you create the environment for growth, success, and a life worth celebrating.
