The pedestrian walkway over Martin Luther King Drive at Renwick was dedicated Tuesday as city officials, students and politicians gathered to salute the event.
The walkway was built nearly 50 years ago in hopes that it would provide a safe way for residents to cross the highway that divides Renwick Street without injury.
