Senator Katrina Jackson, I suppose you are happy today!
You have helped to take away women’s rights in Louisiana and America.
Now, any man can rape their daughter and force her to have this child! We are no longer safe from attack by men!
Black women die in childbirth more than any race. There is no pre-natal care, birth control pills outlawed, rape and incest allowed, no child care available.
Women and their doctors can be imprisoned for abortion.
Enjoy your victory today, Senator Jackson, but in the days to come you will realize this was the “worst” decision you have ever made.
Young women wake up and register to vote. What’s next? Gay rights? Interracial marriage?
Are Black people being sent back to the “cotton fields?”
Just think about it Senator Jackson, your right to be in the Louisiana Senate can be taken away.
We will not go back!
