Welch sworn in as first Black West Monroe Alderman

  Rodney Welch has made history in West Monroe; he is now the first African-American to serve on the West Monroe Board of Aldermen.

  Welch was sworn in Tuesday, June 21, 2022, along with other officials during ceremonies at West Monroe City Hall.
