Student participants in the Top Gun Time Travelers Program were studying hard Saturday as they learned more about Louisiana’s History.
The Time Travelers study government, history, and leadership, from elementary school through high school graduation. They travel to all 50 of the United State’s.
This summer the group will travel to historic sites in Louisiana as it continues the third journey to 50 states.
Their studies began last August and will be complete this summer as they travel throughout the state learning Louisiana history.
The Time Traveler “Save Our Youth” was included among the 1,000 best programs in the USA by the US Department of Housing And Urban Development.
The program is sponsored by the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Monroe.
