The family of Thomas Edward Wood, age 83, announces his passing on October 31, 2023.
A treasured member of the Monroe community, Mr. Wood’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service scheduled for Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, located at 716 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Mr. Wood are welcome to pay their respects during this time.
Following the funeral service, the commitment and interment will take place at Richwood Memorial Gardens, 2705 Richwood Road #2. This will be a time to bid a final earthly farewell to a man who has left a lasting imprint on the hearts of many.
The arrangements for Mr. Wood’s funeral service have been entrusted to McFarland Funeral Home of Monroe.
