There are two dates on a tombstone. There is a birth date and there is a date of death. Everyone is guaranteed those two dates, but the dash that lies between those two dates will define our lives. It is the dash in the middle that is important. The dash represents the time you lived on this earth. The dash represents the goals you may have accomplished.
You have an opportunity right now to do something great. Today is an opportunity to get better. Don’t waste it. You are leaving your mark on the world every day. Make sure it is a mark you can be proud of. Your life is your message to the world. Make sure it is a good message.
You have control over your dash. You can have a positive impact on the lives of others. We all were born to accomplish great things in life. Don’t give up on your dreams and whatever makes you happy.
