Shots fired not enough to derail Carroll Homecoming excitement

More than ten thousand alumni and friends gathered last week to celebrate the homecoming of the only school in Monroe that can trace its history back to the days of slavery; Carroll High School.

Several nights of pageantry, ceremony, open-air concerts, and festivity marked the Carroll Homecoming which is undoubtedly the largest event of its kind in Northeast Louisiana.
