Oprah Winfrey said, “ Don’t waste your time in the race looking back to see what the other guy is doing. It’s not about the other guy. It’s about what can you do.
You just need to run that race as hard as you can. You need to give it everything you’ve got, all the time, for yourself.”
After months of training, I completed the New Orleans Rock ‘ n ‘ Roll Marathon on March 4, 2018.
Nearly 20,000 runners from all over the world hit the streets of New Orleans for the annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
The race started at the intersection of Poydras and St. Charles traveling to the French Quarters, Lafayette Square, the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain and finishing in New Orleans City Park.
Runners enjoyed 26.2 miles of music and the sights of New Orleans.
We have all been equipped with everything we need to be victorious in life. Remember, run your own race – don’t look back and never give up on yourself.
