Stalanda Butcher will be the new director of the Parish Head Start program when it reopens.
Prime Time, Inc., the organization that has received the $4 million grant for the local Head Start Program, named Butcher to Head the Program as it takes time to train staff and prepare to re-open a drastically scaled down program with a smaller staff and fewer students.
Butcher is well known to the Monroe community through her extensive work in her church, The Faith Harvest Baptist Church, and the North Louisiana Baptist Association.
