On July 29, 2020, Gertrude Hall departed her life on earth to spend an eternity in Heaven.
Gertrude Hall was born, March 6, 1937, in Wisner, La. to the late Sargent and Lela Henderson.
Throughout her years she was loved by all who knew her; a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, auntie, cousin, friend, and great grandmother.
She was raised in Wisner, La. but she said that she hated the night sounds of crickets, locust, and all those other sounds that go bump in the night, so she moved to Monroe, La.
Mrs. Gertrude was a devoted supervisor of the laundry at St. Francis Hospital for 38 years where she retired from. Gertrude Hall enjoyed life, now she will enjoy Heaven. Funeral services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Monroe, La. will be Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Smith Funeral Home, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Services will be held at Richwood Memorial
Garden, off 165 South, Monroe, La. directly after the funeral.
