On Sunday, December 9, the Senior Choir at New Light Baptist Church, where Rev. James B. Johnson is pastor, will sing at its annual candlelight musical.
The choir will be under the direction of Bro. Robert Kenneth Wright. The theme and message of the musical will be “God is Preparing Me.” Solos will be rendered by Joyce Smith, Jennifer Staten, Andrew Hill, Carolyn Armand, Melissa Riley, and William Smart. Guest musicians at the musical will be guitarist Kendrick Smith, pianist Terrance Smith, and organist Ahmad Smith. The musical will begin at 6:00 PM.
