McDonald’s offers free cup of coffee to parents for Back to School Parent Encouragement Day

Monroe, Louisiana – The start of the school year isn’t just exciting for students. It’s also an emotional and sometimes stressful day for parents as well. That’s why McDonald’s restaurants in Monroe and across Northern Louisiana will offer parents a free cup of coffee with any purchase during breakfast hours (6–10:30 a.m.) on August 12–13 as part of Parent Encouragement Day.

When: Monday & Tuesday, Aug. 12–13 from 6 – 10:30 a.m.

What: Parents receive a free coffee with any purchase during breakfast by saying they’re here for Parent Encouragement Day.

“We know our parents go out of their way to support and encourage their children for the start of school, but parents need a little encouragement too,” said West Monroe McDonald’s Owner/Operator Tony Gilley. “Parent Encouragement Day is our way of thanking parents for everything they do and hopefully helping to get them off to a strong start this school year as well.”
