Lord! If Your children struggle many years to meet all qualifications required by the institution from which they have graduated-including acquiring burdensome never completely payable for life student loans, suffrages through courses not required for them to be successful in their chosen fields, but required in order to block their name being listed on the graduation program, scheduled to attend classes taught by known race biased instructors, given lowest paying undignified jobs on campus, deliberately given uncomfortable, refusal by instructors to give “special help” if requested, etc., then why are they deliberately forced to take and fail certification tests if the intuition awards them degrees in their fields?
Lord, as You know in order to impede African Americans from teaching Anglo Saxon children after the so-called “farce” of so-called integration of schools, standardized tests were deliberately instituted to education agreed African Americans for so-called certification which they make sure that they fail.
Lord, another unpleasant, but true thought in question, “Why are most children in so-called special education classes African Americans? In my growing-up school segregation days while my family lived in Monroe, the so-called slow learners remained in the same classroom with everyone else and we and the teachers, help them, also instead of lowering their self-esteem by labeling them as being “different”. We did not have nearly as many labeled special education students as we have now! What happened? Why???
Why do many of Your African American children receive attendance and not accomplishment diplomas during graduation exercises? It seems as if they have gradated to serve at fast foods windows and other menial occupations.
Lord, this child of Yours is not playing down menial jobs, but many of Your children could be in better paying jobs had they been trained earlier in life to do so. Concrete example: Many years ago, a close, very intelligent friend of mine having been consigned to a so-called lower education job as tutor (no harm in being a tutor) at the beginning of the presently failed establishments of integrated school was given an Anglo Saxon teacher supervisor in a pre-k class. There was a young boy in her class, who evidently was too terrified of the teacher. Had the tutor not strongly interceded, the teacher was determined to assign him to a newly created special education class after so-called integration of schools.
Eventually, the student graduated from high school enrolled in our University here in Monroe Louisiana. He made excellent grades in his classes including in his chosen field. But, an unnecessary required math class was added to his course load that had nothing to do with his field. He withdrew because he could not pass the math class.
Currently, he is an excellent musician; and has written and published several books. He did not need college level mathematics to accomplish that. Prejudicial establishment deliberately blocked him, which is still quite evident today. Others have been eliminated due to this math requirement.
Lord! Please have mercy on all of us! Please! Please!! Please!!!
Love,
Jacquelyn Simmons
