Dear Lord, our heavenly Father, when it was announced that we had landed a new Robotic Rover on Your planet, Mars, I was very excited as were many others throughout Your created world. Soon afterwards, my joy became very sorrowful as I began to visualize the innumerable numbers of Your children here on Planet Earth who are hungry, jobless, homeless, without any health care, etc., due to lack of funding to care for their basic needs.
It was expressed on one television’s news media that some of Your people may be allowed to travel to Your out of space places in the near future. Who will be considered eligible to travel to some of those places? It quickly became clear to me that Your aforementioned poor children will “NEVER” be eligible to become space travelers or any other travelers as long as they remain on the lowest “rung” of the economic ladder contrived by some of Your wealthy children. Some of Your more affluent children hire so-called expert to “rig” their taxes in a clever contrived manner to make sure they do not have to pay taxes. However, in many instances, some of them use Your “given” positions to gain economic “favors” which Your poor children will never be given. Some of Your children are very apt at accepting funds from rich sponsors to increase their often stolen holdings and making sure that Your most unfortunate children remain at the bottom of their ill contrived economic ladder and accept their most menial jobs of servitude forced upon them and “theirs”. Your poor tax paying children will never be allowed to venture into space. They must remain here on earth to work for outlandishly low wages and be forced to let others use most of it to pay their taxes and foster more trips into space to places they will never visit.
Father, this child of yours would like to vary a little from the regular norm presentations:
Food For Thought
1. Because a man can correctly wear one suit and one pair of shoes at one time, why do some of them purchase many to sit unused in their closets?
2. Because a person can only occupy one car/plane or other vehicle seats at one time, why do some people feel they need to own them in abundance?
3. Why do some people hire very expensive cooks from “faraway” lands to prepare fancy, unheard of foods for consumption and his/her stomachs but can only hold and digest a certain amount of food and dietary substances?
4. Why do some ministers refer to Your church pulpits as theirs and state that women “cannot” enter my pulpits? But, cannot have their so-called pulpits moved to their gravesites after their demise?
5. Why do some people spend great sums designing huge mansions but can only occupy one room at a time?
6. Why do some people purchase expensive jewelry and are miserable due to having to try to protect it from possible thievery so they cannot enjoy wearing it?
Lord, this child of Yours is proud of our space accomplishments but abhors spending large amounts of money for our out of space explorations while Your children on Earth are in dire need of funds in order to survive in a way all of Your children should survive.
