Scriptures: Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts [e]as in a day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you (James 5: 1-6).
Dear Heavenly Father, it is with much anxiety and trepidation to the extent that this child of Yours is asking You to stop Your children from producing and marketing ineffective deadly but very expensive products. It appears that their “love of money”, which You warned us about in I Timothy 6:10, is the actual root of their evil misbehaviors. It also seems that some of their cruel, evil misbehaviors are described in our aforementioned text as written by Your Son, Jesus’ half brother, James (James 5:1-6 NKJV). Evidently they have become confused or are deliberately ignoring Your role in blessing them with Your knowledge, funds and an opportunity to market or give Your less fortunate children created throughout Your world.
Now Father, as instructed by You, this child of Yours is going to share some frightening examples of how low morals spiritual values and high in quality and money matters, some of Your chosen, gifted rich and non-caring children have “sunk” in their evil quests in Your created world. They will not succeed!!!
Heavenly Father, even though You are already aware of all of the past, present and future behaviors and misbehaviors of all of Your children, this child of Yours would like to share with Your readers an incident which occurred to me after a dear friend ordered a dinner for me at a local restaurant. However, this child of Yours would like to stress the fact that the problems I incurred were obviously not the fault of the restaurant’s staff but the manufacturers of products used in their restaurants. Most likely, other restaurant owners have or will soon incur the same dilemmas: 1) carry out plates are much smaller in size which ensures the amount of food one carries out or dines in is lessoned considerably but not the prices which have escalated tremendously. Why Lord? Why! It is not the fault of the restaurant staff but the fault of Your blessed, ungrateful manufacturers to whom You entrusted the knowledge and funds to manufacture Your goods for Your people. But Lord, to my extreme horror, the quality of the size of plates and side dishes have been lessoned to very small containers to the extent that they fall apart in the diners’ hands.
I valiantly with great expectancy tried to lift their contents from my eating utensils and transfer them to my mouth but parts of the containers crumbled and entered my mouth, also. In some instances, I felt myself becoming horrified and frightened when my teeth closed on the vessels as I struggled to keep from swallowing some of their parts from incurring an hospital bill, if my breathing was not completely blocked before my arrival to the hospital. Funeral arrangement? Funeral bill? Sorrowful family and friends. Thank You Lord, in Jesus name, for hearing and granting, this Your child’s prayer.
