Lizzie Mae Sharpe King, age 90, of Lithonia, Georgia and formerly of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025. A devoted homemaker and cherished member of her family and community, Mrs. King lived a full and graceful life, marked by love, faith, and service.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Avenue Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church, prior to the service. Mrs. King will be laid to rest at Richwood Gardens Cemetery in Monroe, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. King will be remembered for her kind heart, her wisdom, and her deep commitment to her faith and family. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
