Let your light shine bright

By Rusty Potter

Christmas isn’t just about the gifts under the tree or the decorations in our homes; it’s a season of sharing hope, spreading kindness, and shining our light to make the world a little better. May this Christmas season ignite within us a bright light, a reflection of compassion and kindness embodied by Jesus. Let us become beacons of light, spreading hope and encouragement to those in need in Monroe. “ I have come into the world as a light so that no one who believes in Me should stay in darkness.”- John 12:46.

Whether through a simple call, visit, or text, let’s extend our hands in generosity and empathy. As we celebrate Christmas, may our actions mirror His love, becoming peacemakers and encouragers in our community. Just as one candle lights another without losing its flame, may our light shine bright, illuminating the way of others.

Let your light shine bright during the holiday season and light up the world around you. May your kindness, joy, and positivity brighten the lives of those you encounter. I wish you a season filled with warmth, love, and inspiration. This Christmas, let’s reflect on the ways we can illuminate the lives of those around us.

Merry Christmas, Monroe. May this season bring you peace, joy, and countless opportunities to share your light with others.
