Brandon Landers has resigned as head coach and Athletic Director of the Carroll High School Bulldogs.
Superintendent Brent Vidrine confirmed Wednesday that Landers gave a verbal resignation to the principal and is scheduled to submit a formal letter of resignation on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
Dr. Vidrine said he could not yet confirm social media posts claiming that Gary Hines would assume the post on an interim basis.
Lander’s resignation came a day after he reportedly accepted a plea bargain to plead guilty to assault on a police officer charges in Franklin Parish.
