I-Ready Technology, is our trend
First of all, the thing that you do the most is listen to the computer explaining, but it talks slowly to the point where you can just fall asleep. Now
that schools have computers and better technology, they have improved. This new technology can display the things we are learning even better.
On a computer, we can use a simulator to compare sizes.
.Though there are many advantages to using computers, there are also disadvantages, such as the fact that many programs and apps rely on the
Internet. If the internet ran slow, they wouldn’t be much use. Also, some apps used frequently by students and teachers might not run. Another thing about learning from a computer is that some people move at a slower learning pace, and some people move much faster, so we will value face-to-face teaching like when our parents were younger, so everyone can move around the same pace.
Time has changed since our parents were in school. My mom told me she had to carry five big books to school. Now, I come to school with my backpack practically empty.
She always tells me when she was at school that they didn’t have Chromebooks or laptops, only a computer class, which was in high school. I see a massive difference if you really think about our parent’s; time.
When my parents were young, they had no phone until they were eighteen. I am only ten years old, and I have a phone. Even when they got their first phone, it probably wasn’t good.
Did you all know that they took the Leap test on paper, where they had to fill in the bubbles; well, now we do those on the computer.
They also did a lot of journals and essays. They were also taught cursive writing, how to type, and how to spell. They used to have spelling bees; we don’t have that. Some students back then were taught sign language and how to write. I would love to learn how to write in cursive, which I am encouraged to do, and how to type faster.
Robolox Helps
For the people who don’t know, Roblox is a software that allows them to
upload their games. One thing about the games is that everyone looks like a block human. If you’re considering downloading Roblox, I have a suggestion for you.
One game of mine that I love playing is Legends of Speed. Legends Of Speed is a game where you must walk around to gain steps. The more steps you take, the faster you will become. Some races take place at the top of the screen. It should say when there is a race; It will also ask If
you would like to join. I am unsure what I like about it, but it is a pretty good game.
Delicious Candy
The last topic that I will talk about is candy. We can all agree that candy is delicious; there is no
denying it. Though It is delicious, it is also very, very unhealthy. This is the reason why we can’t
eat candy all the time. But some of you might be wondering why candy is so unhealthy. The
reason is simple: candy is mostly sugar, and the other things in candy mostly contain sugar. The
reason that sugar is not healthy is because if you eat too much, you might get a stomach ache
or you might ruin your teeth.
