It’s been eight months, Judge Johnson delays ruling in Parkview case

It’s been eight months, but members of the West Parkview Homeowner’s Association are still waiting for a ruling in a suit they filed challenging the board’s policy that limits the public’s ability to speak on agenda items.

Arguments in the case filed by John Ethel Minniefield and Jesse Smith last August claimed that the board had two policies that prohibited public participation in meetings because the board’s policies require the public to write letters five days in advance to get on the agenda and required the board and residents to sign up to speak at regular meetings before the meeting started.
