According to scholars, Psalm 136 is one of the “Hallel” Psalms. Particularly, the noted Psalm does not include the word hallelujah; however, it rehearses praise and thanks to God for His goodness. In spite of recent and past incidents and mishaps, is there anybody grateful for God’s enduring mercy?
Like the children of Israel, God’s mercy extends to us, also. The psalmist consistently gives us reasons to thank God for His kindness, love, faithfulness, grace, and mercy which never ends.
“Hallelujah, His mercy endureth forever!”
