Guidance for Behavioral Health has been awarded the prestigious Corporate Business Award at the 2026 Thomas H. Scott Awards of Excellence.
Presented annually by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, the awards celebrate local businesses and organizations that drive significant economic growth in Ouachita Parish through capital improvements, expansion, job creation, and dedicated community involvement.
Guidance for Behavioral Health—led by founder and CEO Roderick “Rod” Williams and his wife, Aden Williams—secured the top spot in the Corporate Business category. The company was selected from a competitive pool of nominees that included AT&T,
DPR Construction, Fire Tech Systems, and Lucky Services.
The award highlights the organization’s dual impact: providing accessible, high-quality behavioral health services to individuals while simultaneously serving as a major economic engine for the region.
“Through its continued growth, Guidance now employs more than 200 people in Monroe and the surrounding areas, further strengthening its impact on the local economy and the families it serves,” the Monroe Chamber of Commerce noted in its recognition.
By expanding its workforce and investing in the community, the healthcare provider has solidified its footprint as a vital pillar of both the local economy and the healthcare landscape in Northeast Louisiana.
