Graveside services set for Charles Hill

Charles David Hill, the father of Donald, Sr., Rickey, Charles Jr., Tremaine Hill, Rita, Terry, and Howard Ray Richardson was born in Choudrant, LA in 1934.

He was raised up on farms as a child in Downsville, Bosco, Buckhorn Bend, and N. 18th St, where Brookshires is today.

His father Libert Hill was a Professional Farmer.

Charles Hill worked for B.F. Goodrich Tire Store driving a service truck and ran a restaurant and bar called The Busy Bee Club at night in the 1950s and 1960s, which was across the street, where Rankins Auto is today.

He ran a Pawn Shop called “Charles Loans” for 27 years in Oakland, CA. He was a Lifetime Member of The Oakland Raider Booster Club and Season Ticket Holder.

He loved to watch Baseball and Football.

We watched great players like Willie Mays (San Francisco Giants), Reggie Jackson (Oakland A’s) Daryl “The Mad Bomber” Lamonica, and Kenny “Snake” Stabler (Oakland Raiders).

Charles Hill passed away on October 15, 2020.

I (Donald Hill, Sr.) enjoyed the ride with you. Love you Dad.
