“That’s not how the story ends…Jesus is coming back again!”

Blessings, Dear Hearts,

“Grace and peace be unto you from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 1:7 KJV).

As believers, we rejoice each week in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, remembering the victory He secured over sin and death. Yet there is a deeper beauty when we pause to reflect not only on His resurrection, but also on His journey to the cross, His suffering, His sacrifice, His burial, and the glorious truth that He rose again, just as He said He would. This is the “Good News” that anchors our faith. But the story does not end there. There is even greater news.  That is, “He is coming back”.

Without a doubt, the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit and written through faithful men, consistently points us toward this future hope. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, we are given glimpses of Christ’s return in power and glory. In Daniel’s vision, he writes, “I saw in the night visions, and behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of days” (Daniel 7:13 KJV). It has been revealed that this early prophecy sets the stage for what Jesus Himself would later declare.

In the Gospels, Jesus speaks plainly about His return. In Matthew 26:64 (KJV), He expresses, “Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven.” Mark echoes this in Mark 14:62 (KJV), and Luke records, “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (Luke 21:27 KJV). These words remind us that His return will not be hidden.  In fact, it will be evident and filled with divine authority.

The apostles also affirm this promise. In 1 John 3:2 (KJV), we are given a comforting truth.  That is, “When he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” For those who believe, His return is not something to fear, but something to eagerly anticipate.

In addition, Scripture also reveals that His coming will bring an astonishing reality for the world. Revelation 1:7 (KJV) declares, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him,” while Revelation 6:15- 17 (KJV) describes how people from every walk of life will recognize the significance of that moment.

As we reflect on these scriptures, we are reminded to live with readiness and faith. Those who confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead have the assurance of hope (Romans 10:9). We can stand firm, knowing that the same Jesus who rose from the grave, EARLY SUNDAY MORNING, will return again.

He rose!  But “That’s not how the story ends…Jesus is coming back again!”

Jesus Saves!
